Project Management in Non Profit Organizations:

One of Bravo’s customers required the ability for Project Managers to track their projects and WBS. They needed this tool to be easily accessible by the project teams, web-based, and very little training involved. This customer also required that the status of the many projects could be rolled up into an executive view by the senior leadership team including the CEO.

Bravo implemented a SharePoint solution that allowed them to achieve all three major objectives. The benefits seen immediately were:

• Snap-shot view of all company projects and their status
• Increased team morale from knowing more about the project and who was accountable for what
• A shift in responsibilities to relieve team members with too much on their plate;
• As a side benefit, HR now had a broad view of what staff members were doing throughout the year.
